How It All Started

At the heart of Stella’s Bakery are Ken and Christina Shipman – the visionaries who brought a slice of Paris to Livingston. Known affectionately as Stella, Christina has dreamt of owning a bakery since the early 2000s. Her journey took her to Lenotre Culinary School in Houston, where she honed her craft and prepared for the future bakery you see today.

Together, with their children Chloe and Mason, the Shipman family pours love and authenticity into every detail of Stella’s. From Chloe’s dedication to creating the perfect coffee recipes to Mason’s skillful croissant production, Stella’s Bakery is truly a family affair.

Guided by their passion for French baking and a commitment to the Livingston community, the Shipmans invite you to experience the artistry, warmth, and joy that make Stella’s Bakery so special.
